Project Details
- Planned Improvement: Three-lane widening
- Length of Project: 1.1 miles
- Estimated Cost: $8.8 million
Justification
- Traffic Volume: 7,200 vehicles per day; expected to increase to 10,700 vehicles per day by 2022
- Traffic Flow: This portion of Ebenezer Road will become a bottleneck between the new widening of Ebenezer Road and SC Highway 161 at the Rock Hill Airport
Purpose
- To provide additional roadway capacity and improve traffic operations
Planned Improvements
- Upgrade Ebenezer Road to a three-lane section including a center turn lane with curb and gutter
- Install sidewalks
